Reverse description The reverse depicts a dynamic commemorative scene honouring Operation Desert Storm. In the upper field, a group of armed service personnel in combat dress march in formation, the central figure bearing a large, unfurled American flag. Thirteen five-pointed stars arc along the left and right periphery. In the lower field, silhouettes of naval vessels and a military jet aircraft are rendered in low relief. The motto 'IN GOD WE TRUST' appears at the left of the central group, with 'LIBERTY' to the right in the lower middle field. The legend 'DESERT STORM' arcs along the upper border, and the date '1991' is inscribed in the exergue, flanked by the engraver's initial mark.
