| Descrição do anverso | The obverse features a stylized royal crown rendered in high relief at the upper center of the field, displaying fleur-de-lis and cross-pattée ornaments along its arched bands. Beneath the crown, a horizontal decorative band of intricate geometric and foliate patterning spans the width of the field, reminiscent of indigenous or tribal textile motifs. The large numeral '5' is prominently displayed in the lower center of this decorative panel. The legend 'HUTT RIVER PROVINCE' arcs along the upper periphery, while 'NEW QUEENSLAND MINT' appears on a scroll-like ribbon across the central band, and 'FIVE DOLLARS' is inscribed along the lower field. |

Hutt River Province, the micronation declared unilaterally by Leonard Casley in Western Australia in 1970 following a dispute with the state government over wheat production quotas, issued a series of coins commemorating American military hardware during the Gulf War period. The U.S. TACMS — the Army Tactical Missile System, then entering operational deployment — was an odd subject for a Western Australian wheat farmer's sovereign territory, but Hutt River leaned hard into novelty coinage as a revenue stream throughout the 1980s and 1990s.
Nickel silver was the material of choice for most of the province's higher-denomination issues. These pieces were never legal tender anywhere beyond Hutt River's self-declared borders.
