| 正面描述 | The Barbados Coat of Arms is depicted centrally on the concave obverse field of this spherical coin, rendered via water transfer print against a gold-toned background. The shield features a bearded fig tree flanked by two Pride of Barbados flowers, supported by a dolphin to the left and a pelican to the right, surmounted by a hand grasping two crossed sugarcane stalks and a helmet. The motto ribbon below reads PRIDE AND INDUSTRY. The legend BARBADOS arcs above, with the denomination 5 DOLLARS below, and the date 2024 split to either side of the coat of arms. The specifications 1oz Ag 999 appear in the lower field flanking the denomination. |

Barbados has issued commemorative silver dollars under the "Footprint" branding since at least the early 2020s, typically pairing water transfer printing with selective gilding to achieve naturalistic surface textures that standard enameling cannot replicate. The technique originated in automotive and firearms finishing before migrating into numismatics, where a handful of specialist mints — most notably Scottsdale Mint, which has produced work for Barbados — adopted it for wildlife issues.
The $5 denomination places this outside Barbados's circulating series entirely. It exists solely for the collector market.
