The entire lower field is occupied by a richly detailed high-relief composition of lotus flowers, buds, and broad lily-pad leaves extending outward to the rim, framing the royal effigy within a naturalistic aquatic garden. The coin is struck in an antiqued finish, imparting a warm silver-grey patina that accentuates the sculptural depth of the design.
