Beschrijving keerzijde Central device depicts an allegorical winged female figure holding a balance scale, rendered in high relief with a polished silver finish against a darkened field, symbolising the zodiac sign Libra. The two pans of the balance are selectively gilded in gold, as is the ornate border surrounding the central motif. The border consists of a continuous decorative band of stylised cloud or scroll motifs in gilt relief set against a black background, framing the inner composition. The Cyrillic inscription ВЕСЫ (meaning 'Scales') appears in the lower portion of the central field beneath the figure.

Aanvullende informatie

Tokelau's entry into the commemorative bullion market began in earnest around 2012, when the territory — administered by New Zealand and home to fewer than 1,500 people — began issuing collector coins under New Zealand's Crown authority. The Libra issue belongs to a zodiac series produced for that market, with gilded variants struck as a subset of the standard silver release.

KM#150a distinguishes the gilded application as a catalogued variety in its own right.
