In the foreground, a heavily armoured military train — the legendary legionary armoured train — is shown in motion, rendered with fine mechanical detail. Behind and above it, a large ocean-going vessel carrying the returning Legionnaires is depicted crossing the sea toward their homeland. The composition conveys both the overland and maritime aspects of the Legionnaires' return journey. The Czech legend NÁVRAT LEGIONÁŘŮ DO VLASTI (Return of the Legionnaires to the Homeland) and the date FZ 1920 appear prominently in the field. |
