The lower register features a raised circular medallion containing the right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara, as engraved by Ian Rank-Broadley, with the legend ELIZABETH II to the left and COOK ISLANDS to the right within the inner circle.
