Reverse description The convex domed reverse features a vivid pad-printed depiction of the night sky rendered in deep blue and violet hues, upon which the five principal stars of the Crux (Southern Cross) constellation are shown as raised silver-finished star devices of varying sizes. The stars are set within a graduated compass-ring border marked with cardinal directional indicators and calibrated scales. The legend CRUX appears at the top of the border, SOUTHERN SKY along the lower border, with right ascension co-ordinates RA 12h 30m 00s on the left and declination co-ordinates DEC -60° 00' 00'' on the right, providing precise astronomical positioning data for the constellation.
