Aanvullende informatie

Issued as part of the Royal Australian Mint's extensive Sydney Olympics commemorative program, which ultimately ran to dozens of individual sport-themed coins — one of the largest single-Games numismatic programs any mint had undertaken to that point. Distribution was overwhelmingly through collector sets and mint packaging rather than bank rolls, which means circulated examples are genuinely uncommon despite the high mintages typical of the series.
