| Opmerkingen |
Fiji's 1974 series replaced the pre-decimal pound-era designs that had survived, with modifications, well past independence in 1970. Thomas De La Rue handled all printing for the Reserve Bank of Fiji through this period, as they had for the Currency Board before it — continuity of printer across a constitutional transition that changed almost everything else.
Three signature combinations appear on P#73, reflecting successive appointments to the Board of Directors rather than distinct print runs, which makes dating individual notes to a narrow window difficult without supporting documentation.
