| Obverse description | The obverse is shaped to replicate the back face of the iconic Las Vegas sign, rendered in a diamond-shaped format bordered by a row of raised gilt beads simulating neon bulbs. The upper portion features a rectangular cartouche displaying the Public Seal of Niue — a crowned shield encircled by a wreath and flanked by crossed implements — with the issuer name NIUE inscribed vertically at left, the date 2026 and denomination 5 DOLLARS positioned at the upper corners. The central field of the diamond carries the bold raised legend DRIVE CAREFULLY above the script inscription Come Back Soon and the word SOON in block capitals, faithfully reproducing the reverse text of the original Betty Willis-designed sign. The motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI appears beneath the seal cartouche, and a small mint mark is present in the lower field. |

| Reverse description | The reverse faithfully reproduces the obverse face of the celebrated 'Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada' sign, designed by Betty Willis in 1959, rendered as a shaped coloured coin. A large eight-pointed starburst in vivid red and gold colour radiates from the upper pylon above the main diamond-shaped field. The word WELCOME appears in bold red capital letters, each letter set within a white circular roundel, across the upper register of the diamond, with the words To Fabulous rendered below in contrasting script lettering. The field below carries the bold red legend LAS VEGAS and beneath it NEVADA in silver capital letters, all framed by a gilt bead border simulating the sign's characteristic neon bulb surround. The VESCO copyright mark appears in the lower field. |
