The upper portion features a rectangular cartouche displaying the Public Seal of Niue — a crowned shield encircled by a wreath and flanked by crossed implements — with the issuer name NIUE inscribed vertically at left, the date 2026 and denomination 5 DOLLARS positioned at the upper corners. The central field of the diamond carries the bold raised legend DRIVE CAREFULLY above the script inscription Come Back Soon and the word SOON in block capitals, faithfully reproducing the reverse text of the original Betty Willis-designed sign. The motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI appears beneath the seal cartouche, and a small mint mark is present in the lower field. |
