| 正面描述 | The obverse features the Public Seal of Niue at centre, depicted as a crowned heraldic badge within a wreath of stylised oval links, with two crossed lances beneath and the Niuean motto ATUA NIUE TUKULAGI inscribed on a ribbon below. The denomination 5 DOLLARS and date 2024 appear in the field to the left and right of the seal respectively. The background is composed of multiple diagonal bands of intricate raised textile and geometric patterns referencing traditional Niuean craft motifs, lending the design a strongly sculptural quality. The Czech Mint monogram CM appears below the seal at the base of the composition. |

Niue has long operated as a licensing vehicle for the New Zealand Mint's bullion and commemorative programs, issuing coins with no practical domestic circulation — the island's population hovers around 1,600. The Pershing designation places this within the M26 series commemorating American armor, the M26 being the heavy tank fielded late in World War II that the U.S. Army had delayed deploying for years due to interservice disputes between armored and infantry commands.
General Dwight Eisenhower later cited that delay as one of the more consequential logistical failures of the European campaign.
