At the centre, the left-facing draped bust of Liberty is depicted with elaborately styled hair adorned with a laurel sprig and a diadem inscribed LIBERTY; thirteen six-pointed stars encircle the portrait, and the date 1913 appears in the lower field below the bust. Surrounding the inner coin replica, a polished black annular border carries the Niue public seal at the top, flanked by the arc legends NIUE ISLAND to the left and FIVE DOLLARS to the right in bold raised lettering. The lower portion of the border records the coin's specifications: 2 OZ · 2026 · Ag 999, confirming the two-troy-ounce fine silver content and issue year. |
