Obverse description The obverse presents a faithful, enlarged rendition of the legendary 1913 Liberty Head nickel design, struck in high relief within a raised inner border of fine dentils. At the centre, the left-facing draped bust of Liberty is depicted with elaborately styled hair adorned with a laurel sprig and a diadem inscribed LIBERTY; thirteen six-pointed stars encircle the portrait, and the date 1913 appears in the lower field below the bust. Surrounding the inner coin replica, a polished black annular border carries the Niue public seal at the top, flanked by the arc legends NIUE ISLAND to the left and FIVE DOLLARS to the right in bold raised lettering. The lower portion of the border records the coin's specifications: 2 OZ · 2026 · Ag 999, confirming the two-troy-ounce fine silver content and issue year.

Reverse description The reverse reproduces the reverse design of the iconic 1913 Liberty Head nickel in high relief at the centre of the coin, set within a fine dentilled border. The Roman numeral V dominates the central field, encircled by an ornate wreath of cotton, corn, and wheat tied with a ribbon at the base; the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM arcs above the wreath, and the legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA curves along the upper periphery of the inner disc, with the denomination CENTS appearing below. The surrounding polished black annular border bears the series inscription GREATEST UNITED STATES COINS arranged along its circumference, with a small engraved American flag device at the base of the border, completing the collector series attribution.
