The Pacific States of Melanesia, Micronesia and Polynesia is not a recognized sovereign entity — it is a fantasy issuer, producing polymer notes that circulate nowhere and are sold directly to collectors. Franck Medina is a French designer associated with several such fantasy note projects. The polymer substrate lends a veneer of official credibility, but the format mimics rather than belongs to the tradition of Pacific island currency.
