正面描述 Texts in English and French. On the left side, the issuing institute and the coat of arms of Canada. The portrait is that of Sir Henry Charles Wilfrid Laurier, statesman, Canada`s seventh Prime Minister from 1896 to 1911 and the first Francophone to hold this position. In the center is a front view of the West Block of the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa with a legend to his right. Below the legend is the note`s face value `5` and above it, a Canadian flag. The multicolored printing is dominated by blue/yellow.
