| Obverse description | Central gilt inner disc featuring a saluting soldier silhouette to the left and a military tank in the lower field, accompanied by the Coat of Arms of Kuwait with an enamelled Kuwaiti flag shield. The date '٢٦ فبراير ٢٠١٦ / February 26th 2016' appears in bilingual Arabic and Latin script at the upper portion of the inner disc. The outer border consists of an ornate, textured silver ring decorated with elaborate gilt arabesques and foliate lobes in a traditional Islamic geometric style. A curved Arabic commemorative legend reading 'الذكرى الخامسة والعشرون لتحرير دَولة الكويت' (The 25th Anniversary of the Liberation of the State of Kuwait) arcs across the lower field of the inner disc. |
