The upper arc carries a lengthy Arabic commemorative legend referencing the sixtieth anniversary of the issuance of Kuwaiti currency, while at the lower portion a circular emblem of the Central Bank of Kuwait is centrally positioned, flanked by the date '٢٠٢١' (2021) to the left and '١ أبريل' (1 April) to the right.
