Obverse description The obverse features a centrally inset representation of the historic Kuwaiti 100 Fils coin, rendered in antique silver tone, displaying the Arabic inscription 'امارة الكويت' (Emirate of Kuwait) and the denomination '١٠٠ فلس' (100 Fils) above the legend 'KUWAIT' in Latin characters. The surrounding gold-plated field is decorated with stylized geometric and floral arabesques, framed by concentric horizontal band motifs. Along the upper arc of the outer border, the English legend 'The 60th Anniversary of the Kuwaiti Currency' is inscribed, while at the lower field the date 'APRIL 1ST' appears to the left and '2021' to the right of a central circular seal of the Central Bank of Kuwait. The denomination '5 DINARS' is inscribed along the lower rim.

Reverse description The reverse presents a centrally inset depiction of the original 1961 Kuwaiti 100 Fils coin in antique silver finish, inscribed with '١٠٠ فلس' (100 Fils) and 'KUWAIT' in Latin script. The surrounding gold-plated field is adorned with interlacing arabesque and floral ornamental patterns within concentric horizontal band borders. The upper arc carries a lengthy Arabic commemorative legend referencing the sixtieth anniversary of the issuance of Kuwaiti currency, while at the lower portion a circular emblem of the Central Bank of Kuwait is centrally positioned, flanked by the date '٢٠٢١' (2021) to the left and '١ أبريل' (1 April) to the right. The Arabic denomination 'خمسة دنانير' (Five Dinars) is inscribed along the lower rim.
