| Reverse description | The reverse presents two of Islam's holiest sanctuaries rendered in architectural detail: Al-Masjid Al-Haram (The Grand Mosque of Mecca) depicted to the left and Al-Masjid an-Nabawi (The Prophet's Mosque of Medina) to the right. Arabic legends 'المسجِد الحرام' and 'المسجد النبوي' identify each mosque respectively. A commemorative inscription in both Arabic and English records the occasion: 'مطلع القَرن الخَامِس عَشَر الهِجري' / 'BEGINNING OF 15TH HIJRAH CENTURY', with the Hijri date '١٤٠١ هـ' and the English equivalent '1401 A.H.' completing the legend. |
