| Description du revers | The reverse, also in brown-purple on a fine guilloche ground, has at left a vignette of the Yugoslav state coat of arms — a torch with flame surrounded by wheat sheaves bound with a ribbon inscribed 29-XI-1943, surmounted by a five-pointed star — set within an ornate engraved frame. The central field lists the six constituent republics of the federation in Cyrillic and Latin script. At the right margin, a vertical cartouche encloses the numeral 5 above the word DINARA rendered in four language forms. |

The 1950 Yugoslav series was prepared in anticipation of a currency reform that would have replaced the existing dinar issues, but the political rupture with the Soviet Union following the Cominform resolution of 1948 — the "Informbiro" crisis — threw Yugoslav economic planning into extended uncertainty. These notes were printed, never released, and the designation "Informbiro" attached to the series reflects the period of ideological isolation during which they were produced and ultimately shelved.
ZIN-printed remainders of this type occasionally surface intact, the unissued status confirmed by the absence of any serial numbering on most surviving examples.
