| Obverse description | Printed in blue, the obverse centres on a rural vignette of farmers working flooded rice paddies, set against a mountain backdrop with bare trees at right; a serial number in red appears above the scene. The bank name 浙東銀行 is inscribed in Chinese characters at upper centre, while a decorative cartouche to the left carries the denomination 伍角 in bold script, flanked by two red official seals. An ornate guilloche border frames the entire face, with denomination numerals repeated at the four corners. |

| Reverse description | Printed in red-brown on a pale ground, the reverse is organised around a large central rosette bearing the numeral 50, flanked symmetrically by horizontal cartouches inscribed FIFTY and CENTS. The denomination 50 is repeated within scalloped roundels at each corner, and the year 1945 appears in a decorative scroll at bottom centre, the whole enclosed within a fine lace-pattern guilloche border. |
