| Obverse description | Green print on a guilloche-patterned border. A vignette at left centre shows the Zhengyangmen (Qianmen) city fortress gate tower in Peking, rendered in fine line engraving. The bank name in Chinese characters (冀南銀行) appears at upper right within the design, with the denomination 伍角 in a central cartouche; the date inscription 中華民國二十八年印 runs along the lower margin. A red serial number prefix and numeral appear at upper left. |
