| Popis rubu | The reverse reproduces the iconic wartime Victory nickel design in coloured proof finish, dominated by a large blue 'V' for Victory at centre, upon which a flaming torch is superimposed in vivid red, orange, and blue enamel colouring. The dual dates '1945' and '2020' flank the lower arms of the 'V', commemorating the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II. Two stylised maple leaf sprigs appear in the lower field to either side, with the engraver's initials 'T.S.' present below the torch. The legend 'CANADA' arcs across the upper field and 'CENTS' across the lower, all within a beaded border on a dodecagonal-style flan. |
