Reverse description Central denomination numeral '5' flanked by two detailed maple leaves rendered in high relief, with the word CENTS inscribed below. The legend CANADA arcs across the upper field, while the dual dates 1935 and 2010 are positioned to the left and right respectively beneath the maple leaves, commemorating the 75th anniversary of the original 1935 five-cent issue. The design, by W.H.J. Blakemore, faithfully reproduces the classic maple leaf motif of the 1935 coinage.
