Obverse description The complete coat of arms of Belize occupies the central field, flanked by two human supporters and surmounted by the country name legend. The shield displays crossed tools over a sailing vessel in base, and the entire device is enclosed within a laurel wreath. A ribbon scroll below the shield bears the national motto in Latin, with the date inscribed beneath in the lower field. A continuous beaded border frames the design at the rim.
