| Beschrijving voorzijde | Bare-headed right-facing bust of Charles Vyner Brooke, third and last White Rajah of Sarawak, rendered in moderate relief with fine detail to the hair and facial features. The effigy is centrally positioned within the coin field, with a plain truncation at the neck. The circular legend reads 'C.V.BROOKE RAJAH' above and 'SARAWAK' below, flanked by two small raised dots, all within a beaded border. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The denomination '5' appears in large numerals at the centre of the field, with 'CENTS' inscribed below in bold capital letters, the two together forming the face value. The central inscription is framed by a symmetrical wreath of laurel branches tied at the base with a ribbon bow, from which the mint mark 'H' (for Heaton, Birmingham Mint) is visible just above the date. The year of issue is inscribed at the bottom of the field below the wreath. The whole design is contained within a beaded border. |
