The country name 'TUNISIE' arcs across the uppermost portion of the field, while 'PROTECTORAT FRANÇAIS' curves along the lower rim. The Gregorian year of issue is struck below the central hole between the two sprigs. The design is enclosed by a toothed or dentilated border, consistent with the output of the Monnaie de Paris. |
