| Reverse description | Central round hole flanked symmetrically by two sprigs — an olive branch to the left and a wheat ear to the right — evoking Tunisia's agricultural heritage. The large denomination numeral '5' appears prominently to the left of the hole, with 'CENTIMES' inscribed above in a curved legend along the upper rim. The country name 'TUNISIE' arcs across the uppermost portion of the field, while 'PROTECTORAT FRANÇAIS' curves along the lower rim. The Gregorian year of issue is struck below the central hole between the two sprigs. The design is enclosed by a toothed or dentilated border, consistent with the output of the Monnaie de Paris. |
