Beschrijving voorzijde The Dominican Republic national coat of arms occupies the central field, depicting a quartered shield bearing a open Bible surmounted by a cross, flanked by crossed flags and lances. The shield is supported by a laurel branch to the left and a palm frond to the right, tied at the base with a ribbon bow. A flowing scroll above the shield bears the national motto in the legend, while a second scroll below carries the country name. The design is rendered in high relief with a fine milled border surrounding the entire composition.
