Reverse description The reverse is printed in brown on plain paper, enclosed within a simple ornamental border with the denomination numeral '5' at each corner and 'FIVE CENTAVOS' in bold letterpress across the top. The central field carries three lines of italic script stating the note's redeemability at face value after the emergency and its protection against devaluation or discrimination, followed by a stern counterfeiting warning in roman type. The bottom margin bears the denomination '5¢' flanked by the word 'FIVE' in plain lettering.
