The shield is uncrested and set within a plain field. The circular legend ESTADOS UNIDOS DE VENEZUELA runs along the upper periphery, while the lower arc bears the weight, date, and fineness inscription, all separated by raised dots. The coin is struck within a finely toothed inner border.
