Obverse description The Venezuelan national coat of arms occupies the central field, rendered as a quartered shield: the upper-left canton displays a cornucopia of wheat sheaves, the upper-right shows crossed flags, a sword, and a laurel branch against a dotted ground, and the lower section depicts a galloping horse passant to the left. The shield is uncrested and set within a plain field. The circular legend ESTADOS UNIDOS DE VENEZUELA runs along the upper periphery, while the lower arc bears the weight, date, and fineness inscription, all separated by raised dots. The coin is struck within a finely toothed inner border.
