Aanvullende informatie

Lithuania declared the restoration of independence in March 1990, but the transition away from Soviet-era currency was neither immediate nor clean. These aluminium centai coins were struck in 1991 as part of the first wave of the restored litas system, though the litas itself didn't formally re-enter circulation until 1993 — meaning these pieces were minted well before the currency they denominated was actually in use.
