背面描述 Highly detailed antique-finished reverse depicting a cross-section of the Muonionalusta meteorite, rendered with exceptional sculptural relief. The field is dominated by a richly textured Widmanstätten pattern of interlocking crystalline bands radiating outward from the centre, surrounded by a border of rounded chondrule-like formations in high relief. At the centre of the composition, a triangular groove is inlaid with an actual fragment of the Muonionalusta meteorite, presented as a polished dark cubic insert. The curved legend MUONIONALUSTA SWEDEN arcs along the lower portion of the field in incuse lettering within a recessed banner.

附加信息

The Muonionalusta meteorite fell in northern Scandinavia roughly one million years ago and was first recovered near the Swedish-Finnish border in 1906. It is an iron meteorite of the fine octahedrite class, notable for producing some of the most visually distinctive Widmanstätten patterns of any known specimen — the result of extremely slow crystallization over billions of years in the early solar system.

Ghana's meteorite coin program has embedded authenticated fragments directly into the striking, making each piece unique by composition.
