| Opis awersu | Cast bronze cash coin of substantial module, featuring a central square perforation surrounded by a raised square boss. The four characters of the legend 大中通寶 (Da Zhong Tong Bao) are arranged in the four cardinal positions around the central aperture, rendered in bold regular script (kaishu) in high relief against a flat field. The characters read top-to-bottom and right-to-left in the traditional Chinese manner, with 大 (great) at the top, 通 (circulating) to the right, 寶 (treasure/currency) at the bottom, and 中 (zhong/central) to the left. The entire design is enclosed within a raised circular rim, and the surfaces display a mottled dark brown patina with areas of green cuprite consistent with age and burial. |

| Opis rewersu | Plain reverse field with a central square perforation set within a raised square boss of uniform width. The surrounding field is entirely unadorned and devoid of any inscription, mintmark, or decorative element, presenting a smooth if slightly irregular cast surface consistent with late Yuan–early Ming period production. A well-defined raised circular rim borders the periphery. The surface shows an even dark olive-brown patina with scattered areas of green oxidation. |
