The upper and lower borders carry the issuer legend 'Landkreis Crefeld' in Gothic script on a dark ground, flanked on both sides by diagonal hatched ornamental panels. A central framed panel bears the denomination 'FÜNF MILLIONEN MARK' in bold block capitals, beneath which a four-line German text states the payment obligation, dated Crefeld, den 1. September 1923, followed by the series designation 'REIHE A', a serial number, and a manuscript signature of the Landrat. |
