A large central oval guilloche vignette encloses a detailed architectural view of the Zweibrücken town hall and surrounding square. At the top and bottom of the oval, octagonal cartouches carry the numeral '5000000' above the word 'MARK', and two further rectangular value panels repeating '5000000 MARK' flank the vignette at left and right.
