A large diamond-shaped green vignette occupies the centre of the field, with the word "Mark" in red Fraktur above the large numeral "5000000" in bold red figures. The denomination "5000000 M." and "M. 5000000" appears in each corner in blue. A prominent red circular official stamp of the Landratsamt Ahrweiler, bearing an eagle device, is applied at the lower centre. The same red ornamental chain-link border as the obverse runs along the right margin, with the text "Kreis Ahrweiler" printed vertically within it. |
