The vertical side panels carry the denomination '5000000 MARK' in tall vertical lettering, while the four corner spaces are filled with stylised radiating arrow ornaments. A six-digit serial number and a three-line redemption notice in Kurrent script appear at the lower centre, dated 21 August 1923 and signed by the Oberbürgermeister. |

Four rosette ornaments with radiating line patterns occupy the inner corners flanking the vignette, and the circular border carries the legend 'STADT · DÜSSELDORF' in both arcs. The denomination '5000000 MARK' is repeated in tall vertical letterpress panels on both side borders. |
