| Reverse description | Plain cream paper printed in dark blue-black with the denomination legend 'fünf Milliarden Mark' in elaborate Gothic calligraphic script within a large central circular medallion, surrounded by a fine ornamental border of scrolling floral and foliate motifs. The denomination '5 milliarden' appears in blackletter type in each of the four corners. The obverse text shows through as a light offset impression, typical of the thin emergency-issue paper used for Notgeld of this period. |
