| Obverse description | Printed in purple on a fine guilloche underprint, the obverse carries the large numeral '5' at centre-right with the word 'BILLION' beneath it, flanked on the right by a vignette of two giraffes set in grass. To the left, the bearer demand text and denomination in words 'FIVE BILLION DOLLARS' are set above the issue date of 15th May 2008 and the expiry condition. The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe circular seal appears at lower centre-left alongside the printed signature of Dr. G. Gono, Governor, with the denomination numeral '5 000 000 000' repeated at the base. |
