| Descrizione del dritto | The obverse retains the laureate and draped bust of King Charles IV of Spain facing right, with the circumferential Latin legend reading CAROLUS·IIII·DEI·GRATIA and the date 1807 in the lower exergue. Prominently applied over the portrait is a rectangular Saint Vincent counterstamp punch displaying the letters S, IV, and B arranged in a cruciform pattern, denoting the denomination of 4½ Bits and authorizing the host coin for local circulation. The counterstamp is sharply struck into the field of the original coin, partially overlapping the royal effigy. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse of the host Peru 2 Reales displays the Spanish royal coat of arms, a quartered shield surmounted by a crown, flanked on either side by the Pillars of Hercules with scrolling banners. The surrounding circumferential Latin legend reads HISPAN·ET IND·REX·LIMAE·2R·J·P·, identifying the issuing authority, mint city of Lima, denomination, and assayer initials. The design is executed in the standard colonial milled style, with a fine milled border encircling the entire reverse field. |
