| Popis rubu | Central device consists of the Cross of the Order of Christ — a broad, splayed cross with triangular terminations — placed within a square frame, with one large capital letter M occupying each of the four quadrants formed by the arms of the cross, together representing the mint mark of Vila Rica (MMMM). The date appears prominently in the upper portion of the legend, flanked by small star stops.
