| Obverse description | Portrait of Sun Yat-sen set within a circular vignette at left, flanked by ornate guilloche cornerpieces bearing the denomination in Chinese characters. The central field carries large Chinese characters for the denomination against a fine guilloche underprint, with the bank title 中央銀行 across the top and two red seal impressions below the central inscription.
