背面描述	The reverse is printed in deep violet-red on cream paper and carries the city of Krems coat of arms as a pale underprint vignette at centre. The denomination 'Vierzig 40 Heller' is set in bold Gothic and Roman type across the upper section, flanked by horizontal ruling lines. A central text block in Gothic script explains that the amount constitutes a donation toward the repatriation and welfare of prisoner-of-war compatriots and is not redeemable. Below, the acronym '"Edna"' is given with its full expansion — 'Erste d.-ö. Notgeldausstellung Krems a/D. 1920' — and the notation '2. Auflage.' (second edition) appears at upper left.
