H. 1660 T 4, identifying the Grand Master by name and title, the date 1660, and the denomination of 4 Tari. A beaded border runs along the rim, consistent with the hammered production technique of the Valletta mint. |

Annet de Clermont-Gessan served as Grand Master for barely three years, from 1660 to 1663, making his coinage among the shortest-produced in the Order's long Maltese series. The 4 Tari was the workhorse denomination of the Knights' silver issues, circulating widely across the central Mediterranean in trade with Sicily and the Levant.
KM#93 is frequently found with die rust and uneven surfaces — a recurring feature of the Valletta mint in this period, not a strike deficiency unique to any single piece.
