| 背面描述 | The reverse displays a four-line inscription arranged in the field, reading 4 / SCHIL / LINGK / LVBS., denoting the denomination of four Schilling Lübisch. Small ornamental cross or rosette devices appear above and below the denomination text, serving as decorative separators. The lettering is bold and well-spaced, executed in a gothic-influenced Roman style consistent with contemporary Lower Saxon municipal coinage. A beaded border encircles the entire reverse field, providing a neat boundary to the design. |

Stade's coinage authority in 1600 was itself under dispute — the city operated as a nominally independent issuer while simultaneously contesting Swedish and Danish commercial pressures in the lower Elbe region, a tension that would culminate in Swedish occupation by 1645. Small silver fractions like this one circulated heavily in the port trade economy, and survivors showing genuine wear are actually the more historically honest specimens.
