Obverse description Central shield divided into four quarters by a plain cross, displaying alternating heraldic devices characteristic of the Crown of Aragon and Castile, including lions and castles, rendered in low relief typical of hammered coinage. The shield is enclosed within a beaded inner border. A partial Latin legend runs along the outer periphery of the irregularly shaped flan, with the date 1651 partially visible. The overall strike is typical of cob-style hammered silver, with an uneven flan and variable legend legibility.

Reverse description Central shield bearing the four vertical bars (pales) of Aragon, surmounted by a royal crown in high relief, all within a beaded inner border. To the left of the shield, the mint mark 'CA' for the Zaragoza mint is partially visible, accompanied by additional mint or assayer marks in the field. The outer legend, partially struck due to the irregular flan, carries the royal titulature of Philip III in Latin. The coin exhibits the characteristic irregular outline and uneven surface of hand-struck hammered macuqina coinage.
